The brief for this garden was more about what the client didn’t want, having memories of her parents’ gardening style in which plants were kept low, widely spaced and neatly clipped.  We created an informal haven for insects with tall, chaotic planting in sweeping borders. Natural stone sets were used for the hard landscaping which was kept simple and understated to allow the planting to become the key feature in the garden.
