3. GUIDELINE DESIGN – FOR YOU AND FOR NATURE

A lighter touch one-off garden design & consultation service that offers personalised advice and guidance across Cambridgeshire & the East of England

An in-person design review with Lucy in your garden that will give you the professional input and direction you need to implement positive changes to your outdoor space. Make the most of your garden using Lucy’s personalised insights and ideas to help you put it all into practice.

Includes follow-up information to give you creative direction, and a guideline sketch for you to implement in your own time. For domestic clients within 1 hour travel from Ely, covering Cambridgeshire and some parts of Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

    • How to reorganise the space to suit your needs

    • How to make space for wildlife and encourage biodiversity

    • Short and long term plans for the garden

    • What plants to buy, and where to put them

    • Tips and advice on turning the idea into a reality

    Advance payment of 50% of full fee payable prior to phone call. 

    Final payment of 50% of full fee payable upon receipt of follow-up pdf and sketch.

    This service does not include detailed planting plans, technical drawings, or any information for construction.  

    The Guideline Sketch is indicative and should only be used as a visual reference. 

    Clients should seek advice from a registered landscape contractor, arboriculturist or structural engineer before carrying out any landscape or tree works.

Successful planting relies on responding sensitively to the site conditions and creating unique species lists that work together in the spirit of ‘right plant, right place’.

Includes planting plans & schedules, illustrated lists and any specifications needed for correct installation.

  • We provide aftercare plans and seasonal aftercare visits with follow-up summaries to assist you or your maintenance gardener in nurturing your garden as it evolves and develops.  We love revisiting projects in the years after completion to monitor growth and advise on management of the inevitable changes that come about in any landscape as time passes.

  • Our prices for stand-alone planting design start at £2k and are tailored to the unique requirements of your project. Having met you and assessed the areas which require our input during the preparation & brief phase, we provide you with a bespoke fee proposal detailing all the stages of work, and the associated fees for every stage.
